The Debate on Miracles by Sky Daniels

"Miracles- A surprising and welcoming event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency." -Oxford Dictionary

Everyone should believe in miracles. Those who don't believe in them, are unable to see things that outshines the ordinary, or even worse, they have an inability to see the miracle that is themselves.

Yes, WE are all miracles. This idea is formed by one fact- that we are ALL made in the same image of the Creator. (Genesis 1:26-27)

Of course, it is important to acknowledge that all of creation is a declaration and a confirmation of who the Creator is (Psalm 19:1-4), but what makes the human race so unique?

My answer is this-

We have an innate ability to mature in the ways of wisdom, love, and forgiveness. When we love and when we forgive, we mirror the Universe and all of Her splendor. This is what makes us special, even though we have our faults.

Take a look at this Scripture- "No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us. (1 John 4:12 NLT).

Rejoice in this, and do not take for granted the biology that makes Us who We are; and in light of this, unlike practiced by those living the holier-than-thou lifestyle, we should put this belief into visible actions and live in the knowledge that if we are a reflection of the Universe's image, then we should be able to do miraculous things where ever we go, just like the ripple effect in the water.

Love, and our faith in it, was always meant to be a verb. If one believes in great things, then one must do great things. When one does great things, one proves to the world that we ARE a reflection of Celestial Grandness.

Such a thought is powerful.

Let us be aware of our value and not let the harshness of outer circumstances or insecure people push us into throwing such power away. We all play an important role if we focus on the good. God is good. God is love. God is omnipresent- a part of He or She lives in all of us.

Be.
